Automotive Titling Clerk - Salt Lake City

Prestman Auto is seeking a full-time, experienced Automotive Title Clerk. Prestman Auto is a rapidly growing dealership with locations in Salt Lake City and Lindon. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to join our highly successful team! Compensation is commensurate with experience. This is a full-time position in South Salt Lake, M-F with medical, retirement, and PTO. 
 
Job Duties

  • Preparing and processing plate and title documents, including all titling transactions for local and out-of-state clients.
  • Preparing checks for title work and customer refunds as needed.
  • Processing all titling documents through the DMV.
  • Posting all titling transactions and monitor corresponding schedules.
  • Daily title issue tracking.
  • Properly represent the dealership to its customers and vendors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Completing end-of-month accounting requirements as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Keeping current with applicable laws.

Job Requirements


  • 2 or more years of Automotive Title Clerk experience a plus but not required
  • Microsoft Excel and computer proficiency preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to multi-task in fast paced, high volume dealership

Automotive Photographer

Requirements:
  • Basic understanding of photography, lighting and composition
  • Working knowledge of a camera
  • Teachable; willing to learn specific branding guidelines of Prestman Auto as it pertains to photography style
  • Experience with Adobe Lightroom
  • Able to split time between our two locations in Lindon and Salt Lake

Responsibilities:
  • Close communication with detail department to know which vehicles are ready for photos
  • Properly stage vehicles and maintain consistent photography for each vehicle
  • Photograph vehicles quickly with short turnaround times
  • Edit and upload images
  • Fully process vehicles in one day (shoot, edit, upload)
  • Inspect vehicles for cleanliness before shooting and communicate any needed changes
  • with detail

Schedule and other notes:
  • 40 hrs/wk
  • Monday-Friday 9 AM - 5 PM
  • Requires splitting time between two locations

REQUIREMENTS:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Closed Sunday

  • Finance position will be off Sunday and one day during the week, with Saturdays being mandatory

  • Pay plans will be discussed with qualified applicants and based off prior finance experience

LOT SUPERVISOR

Approximately 40 hrs/week

Pay $14-16/hour depending on prior experience  

- Monday-Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1 day off between Monday-Friday)

- Saturday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM


What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is a hard worker, organized, and detail-oriented. As a lot supervisor your responsibilities will include:

- Process new inventory as it arrives on the lot

- Ensure that all vehicles have completed safety and emissions inspections

- Help with detailing new and sold vehicles  

- Assist with organizing the lot to maintain a clean presentation

- Be able to perform minor car repairs (replace car batteries, replace brake pads, etc..)


Requirements:

- Must be 21 years+

- Valid drivers license 

- Basic understanding of automotive mechanics

- Clean driving record

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Hard worker

- Must be willing to submit to a drug screen & background check

  • Build strong rapport with customers.

REQUIREMENTS:

Service Technician (Salt Lake City)

  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.  Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs

Receptionist (Salt Lake)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer incoming calls

  • Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold

  • Provide basic information to callers who have general inquiries

  • Assist the General Manager with various clerical duties as needed

  • Be friendly, professional, courteous and efficient when working with all customers and employees

  • Handle customer complaints with integrity and poise and take or refer the complaining customer to the appropriate individual for further communication.

  • Keeping the showroom tidy and stocking items as needed

  • Filing, scanning and Mailing as needed

  • Opening and Closing procedures

  • Run Credit Card Transactions

  • Put customers on Test drives when there's no salesperson available

  • Assist in getting keys for sales team

  • Distribute mail or interoffice mail to departments if needed
