If you're visiting Lindon during summer or fall, then it will likely be warm enough to enjoy several parks and hiking trails, weather permitting.  One of the most noteworthy hikes is up Mt. Timpanogos, which according to, is the "most popular mountain hiking destination in Utah."  There are several attractive qualities about Mt. Timpanogos, including a lake, waterfalls, and multiple hiking trails. But one of the most fun and popular activities on Timpanogos is the cave tours.  At the top of a steep 1.5 mile paved hiking trail are the Timpanogos Caves.  You can purchase guided tour tickets at the bottom of the trail, and start the 55 minute tour once you've reached the top.  The inside of the cave is full of beautiful, naturally made rock formations that were created over hundreds of thousands of years.

Another notable destination is Utah Lake, directly adjacent to the city of Lindon.  This large lake is great for boating and fishing, and Lindon has it's own marina.  At the Lindon Marina you can stick your toes in their sandy beach or take a boat out from their launch docks.  The marina also offers paddleboards, canoes, mini sailboats, and more, all available for rental.  Lots of fun for everyone!

Indoor Fun

If you happen to visit Utah during colder months or you prefer to stay indoors, then there are lots of places to explore and experience near Lindon.  One place in particular has everything you need for a good time.  Thanksgiving Point is a large complex with plenty to explore.  Not only can you go shopping and dining, but you can also visit the Museum of Ancient Life or the Museum of Natural Curiosity.  The complex also houses a large 55-acre garden and an interactive farm.  Thanksgiving Point is entertaining for everyone, adults and children alike.

And if you traveled with children, then another great location to visit is the Seven Peaks Fun Center.  Your entire family will enjoy the various activities available, including go-karts, rides, rock climbing, laser tag, mini-golf, an arcade, and so much more.  There's always something to do or explore when you visit Seven Peaks.
